The newest version of the Android Operating System has been codenamed Froyo (as in Frozen Yogurt). After the Google I/O presentation (day 2) I knew I wanted to have it on my phone. I could not wait for the update so after a lot of research and trial and error I managed to upgrade my phone to Froyo – Android 2.2. Everyone more or less has some sort of electronic presence. That presence can easily be seen on Twitter, Facebook, personal blog, Google account, Buzz etc. The recent uproar against Google and Buzz because it was initially Opt-Out and not Opt-In should be revisited by comparing it to other companies such as Internet Service Providers, Financial Institutions and Utility companies. People will be surprised as to how many of those companies default to Opt-Out vs Opt-In.
